Choosing a celebrant to write & conduct your ceremony means you can have your special day almost anywhere, anytime and exactly how YOU want it.

Simple, traditional, romantic or a lively fun filled festival. The choice is yours. Working closely with you I will create a ceremony that reflects your style & personality.

You can include symbolic elements such as hand fasting, have your dog as ring bearer or include a singalong ! You may want to walk down the aisle with your Mum AND Dad, your children or even together as couple. 

You might decide to seat your guests in a circle or semi circle so they can all see! 

There are no rules! 

Your vows are the heart of your wedding ceremony, whether making them for the first time or renewing them & you have the opportunity to write your own, repeat more traditional vows or a combination. I'm here to help you. 

Every word will be approved by you, it is YOUR ceremony.

For your marriage to be legal it must be registered in the presence of two witnesses and a registrar. A brief appointment to answer two declaratory questions & sign a register. Just like registering a birth or death and NOT a ceremony.

 Music, readings, vows & rings are all ceremonial & can therefore be performed anywhere & in any way you wish!

Many people also like to appoint guardians, guide parents or sponsors. Whatever title you give them they are specially chosen by you to play a guiding role in your child`s upbringing. Their promises will be unique & from the heart.

You can hold your celebration anywhere - a hired venue, your home even your garden. How about a Mad Hatter`s Tea Party or Teddy Bear`s Picnic?

Above all it will be an occasion full of love, laughter & happy memories & written just for you.

I will meet with you & your family & listen. Listen to your stories and memories and gather as much detail as possible to ensure the occasion is deserving of the person whose life we are celebrating. Funny stories, what made them laugh even those annoying habits! Favourite music, poems, readings & singers can all be woven into a truly personal & bespoke celebration.

I believe a funeral should be a celebration of life, however long, however brief that life. A funeral itself cannot prevent the sense of loss or heal the grieving process. But the right funeral can help that process begin.
