Your ceremony is THE most important part of your wedding day. The moment you make promises to each other that will last a lifetime. It should celebrate your love story, be uplifting, fun & memorable. Definitely not the boring bit before the party!
Choosing a celebrant to write & conduct your ceremony means you can have your special day almost anywhere, anytime and exactly how YOU want it.
Simple, traditional, romantic or a lively fun filled festival. The choice is yours. Working closely with you I will create a ceremony that reflects your style & personality.
You can include symbolic elements such as hand fasting or sand ceremony. You may wish to have your dog as ring bearer or include a singalong ! You may want to walk down the aisle with your Mum AND Dad, children or even together as couple.
Have you thought about the seating, having a circular or semi circular arrangement means all your lovely guests get a great view! There are no rules!
Your vows are the heart of your wedding ceremony, whether making them for the first time or renewing them & you have the opportunity to write your own, repeat more traditional vows or a combination. I'm here to help you.
Every word will be approved by you, it is YOUR ceremony.
Please be aware that for your marriage to be legal it must be registered in the presence of two witnesses and a registrar. A brief appointment to answer two declaratory questions & sign a register. Just like registering a birth or death and NOT a ceremony.
Music, readings, vows & rings are all ceremonial & can therefore be performed anywhere & in any way you wish!
I'd love to hear about your perfect ceremony.
Your child is unique in every way so why not celebrate their arrival with an equally special naming ceremony.
Whether it`s a new baby or adopted/step children you are welcoming, a naming ceremony is a wonderful celebration and perfect opportunity to introduce them to the family.
I will help you create a magical ceremony that reflects your beliefs, your values as a family & hopes for your child`s future. It can be simple, fun or include more religious/spiritual aspects such as tree planting or candle lighting.
Many people also like to appoint guardians, guide parents or sponsors. Whatever title you give them they are specially chosen by you to play a guiding role in your child`s upbringing. Their promises will be unique & from the heart.
You can hold your celebration anywhere - a hired venue, your home even your garden - weather permitting! How about a Mad Hatter`s Tea Party or Teddy Bear`s Picnic?
Above all it will be an occasion full of love laughter & happy memories & written just for you.
Why not include a naming ceremony in your wedding or vow renewal?
Our lives all tell a different story. It follows therefore that our final goodbye should reflect that story, our beliefs and above all our personality.
Choosing a celebrant to write and conduct your funeral means your wishes and those of your loved one are of the utmost importance.
I will meet with you & your family & listen. Listen to your stories and memories and gather as much detail as possible to ensure the occasion is deserving of the person whose life we are celebrating. Funny stories, what made them laugh even those annoying habits! Favourite music, poems, readings & singers can all be woven into a truly personal celebration.
I believe a funeral should be a celebration of life, however long however brief. A funeral itself cannot prevent the sense of loss or heal the grieving process. But the right funeral can help that process begin.
